Our Team

Doreen is a junior at Governor Livingston High School. She is a two-time regional winner and national qualifier for the Future Business Leaders of America. She is also the Director of Marketing and Communications at INTEGIRLS NYC/NJ and the Alphademic Learning, both nonprofit organizations. Doreen does taekwondo and is a black belt. 

Angie Liu is a senior at Montgomery High School. She is a three-time AIME qualifier and enjoys participating in ARML. She enjoys drawing, watching movies, and catching up on sleep during her free time. She hopes to support anyone interested in pursuing math through Lovelace!

Sophia is a senior and a member of her school's math team. She enjoys math and has scored for her school in various math competitions. In her free time, Sophia enjoys baking, swimming, and spending time with her friends. As a math/science peer tutor at her school, she is excited to support young girls pursing math through Lovelace Math Circle!

Ada is a junior at the Edison Academy Magnet School. She does competition math in her free time and is a three-time AIME qualifier.  At school, she is an active participant in the newspaper club, Academic Team, and debate club. Aside from math, she enjoys playing the piano, reading, watching k-dramas, and drawing.

Tara is a sophomore at Bellevue High School in Washington. She has been part of her school's math club and other local math circles since 3rd grade, qualifying for AIME this year and competing in CMIMC and ARML. She also tutors math of all levels and has helped organize various competitions for local students through other non-profits. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and violin and arguing with her twin brother.

Minhe Liu is a junior at Montgomery High School. She is a two-time AIME qualifier and enjoys participating in many math and science competitions. Besides academics, she also enjoys reading, writing, music, and playing video games.

Jacqueline is a senior at the Montgomery High School. She enjoys doing math, and has qualified for the AIME. Additionally, she is a PUMaC Finalist, and won 8th place in geometry. In her free time, she loves to 3D model and crochet.

Angela is a junior at the Montgomery High School. She enjoys math and, in her free time, competes and places in various math competitions. Other than math, she enjoys swimming, skateboarding, reading, and eating. She often tutors people from her school in Science and/or Math and is excited to expand her approach to young girls accross the world.

Maiya is a sophomore in Princeton, NJ interested in math and other sciences such as physics. She started doing competition math from an early age and have been awarded Honorable Mention in Math Prize for Girls and Honorable Mention in USAJMO. Apart from math she also enjoys walking her dog, playing card games, and art.

Michelle is a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and is a member of her school's math team. She is a two-time AIME qualifier and enjoys participating in math competitions like CMIMC and ARML. She enjoys teaching teaching and spreading her passion about math to girls. In her free time, she likes to sleep, play violin, and watch movies. 

Grace is a junior at Riverside High School. She enjoys math, and she competes in local math competitions and has qualified for the AIME. Outside of math, she enjoys playing competitive tennis and baking. At school, she is the vice-president of the Math Honor Society and tutors classmates and friends in math. 

Jennifer Hu is a high school junior from Carmel High School in Indiana. She is a 2-time AIME Qualifier and an MP4G Olympiad Qualifier, and also attended the G2 Math Program in 2024. Her favorite math subject is geometry. In her spare time, she enjoys studying chemistry, crocheting, and listening to music.

Hannah is a junior at Sycamore High School in Ohio. She is a two-time AIME qualifier,  AMC10 & 12 awardee, MPfG qualifier, and has competed at ARML, INTEGIRLS, CMIMC, and SMT. She also attended the PROMYS math program in 2024. At school, she demonstrates her passion for STEM in math club and Science Olympiad, as well as her expertise in teaching as teaching assistant for 9th grade Chinese. Aside from math, she loves to volunteer, play violin, swim, and religiously listen to K-pop. She is excited to share her experience in math with others through Lovelace Math Circle!

Jessica is a sophomore at Mission San Jose High School. She is a 2-time MPfG qualifier and enjoys participating in competitions like BMT and SMT. In her free time, she likes going on long walks, listening to music, and taking pictures of the sky. She is excited to share her passion and support young girls in math.

Hannah Zhao is a senior at St. Joseph High School. She excels in math and has qualified for USAMO. As the planner of the school's math club, she leads and guides her classmates to participate in math challenges. In addition to these, she also likes music and playing guitar. She hopes that young people who love math will continue their learning journey.

Emma is a sophomore at Redmond High School. She is a two-time MPfG qualifier, three-time AIME qualifier, made AMC 10 DHR, and enjoys competing in various other math competitions as well. Aside from math, she loves to read, bake, play card games, and collect cute stationery. She hopes to encourage other young girls interested in math through Lovelace!

Angelina is a junior at Great Valley High School. She is a MPfG qualifier and has placed in various other math competitions. Besides math, she loves to eat pho, play the flute, and watch late night talk shows. She’s excited to help young girls find their passion in math through Lovelace!

Lisa is a junior from Maria Carrillo High School who has competed in various math competitions such as the AMC 10/12, AIME, BMT, and SMT, and attended PROMYS. She enjoys the symmetries in mathematical structures. Aside from math, she likes programming, art, and poetry.
